FS – Dive Center
You will be working with highly professional PADI Dive Masters and PADI Instructors for a total period of up to 12 weeks. Your first 4 weeks we will team you up with the Four Seasons Dive Team and you will be “working” and experience first hand how it is to work and live at a top of the class Luxury 5 Star Resort like the Four Seasons Resort Maldives. At the same time we get your ready for the IDC in preparation with Diving Skills, Diving Theory and Dive Standards.
Your PADI Instructor Development Program – IDC starts in week 5 and 6. You will work with PADI Course Director Andy Auer and his Team of Staff Instructors to give you the best IDC worldwide. During the IDC we will teach you what it takes to be a successful PADI Instructor. With PADI Course Director Andy’s Auer and his long term working Relationship as Dive Manager at the Four Seasons Resorts Attention to Details comes natural and your PADI Instructor Development Course is fully packed with many valuable additions.
Best Training
The PADI Instructor Examination – IE will be conducted at the end of week 6 also at the Four Seasons Landaa Giraavaru !! Week 7 will be the optional
PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer Program. A highly recommended and rewarded program preparing you for your work in the ” field” and makes you much more valuable for PADI Dive Centers and Resorts .
The remaining time of the total 12 week program, you will be working in a “team teaching” relationship at the Resort together with the Four Seasons Dive Team.
The Four Seasons Maldives PADI Instructor Internship program is the perfect environment and facility to get you ready to become a highly qualified PADI Instructor in the Dive Industry and Resort Operations.
What are the Prerequesits for the PADI Instructor Development Program and the Four Seasons Resort Internship?
- PADI Divemaster or leadership-level certification with a recognized recreational diver training organization
- Medical clearance attesting to dive fitness signed by a physician within the previous 12 months
- Certified Diver for six months
- EFR Primary & Secondary Care course completion (or qualifying training) within the last 24 months
- 100 logged dives prior to Instructor Examination
